Lady Eagle basketball

Annie made the A team and is excited to start basketball. Volleyball was so much fun to watch, so we are all excited for another sports season. All three are playing at the same time. Go Eagles!

CC is over!

Annie had a love/hate relationship with Cross Country this season. She enjoyed the meets, but didn't love the morning practices. She did really well and improved each meet.

Halloween 2018

This year we "celebrated" Halloween two nights. On the Saturday before Halloween, Pops and Susu took the boys out to Post to Trade Days for their big Halloween bash. They loved the Haunted House and Maze and being out there with their buddies. Then, on Sunday night, we had another event at Monterey and they all loaded up on candy. The kids enjoyed it all. On the real Halloween night, it was super cold, so we stayed home, ordered pizza, and watched This Is Us together.

Hudson's last Sock Hop at Miller

The boys Sock Hop was like all years before...lots of decorations and kids dressed up. They get to play during their PE time and each of them enjoyed it. Hayden wanted me to come to his and Hudson was tooo cool. We had to convince him to even dress up by reminding him that he won't get to in middle school.

Lady Eagle Volleyball

Annie ROCKED this volleyball season. She loved it and made so much improvement from the start to finish. She was on the B team and played with some really sweet girls. She mastered the overhand serve and was a great part of her team. We are so proud of her and excited for basketball season and volleyball again next year. Way to go, Annie!

While we were away

While we were away, the kids stayed with Grammy for four nights and three days. She ate lunch with the boys and took them to the park on their half-day off from school. We didn't have to worry about the kids while we were away and that was so nice. They had fun with Grammy, Pops, and Susu. Shelley and her kids came in town while we were gone so that Jett could get his cast off so they got to have supper with them before they headed back.

15 year anniversary trip

We had the best time celebrating our 15th anniversary together at the beginning of October. We took a 7-day cruise from New Orleans and stopped in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. It was so relaxing and nice to get away! We loved every minute of it and had so much fun being kid free for the week. We missed the kids and were very ready to see them by the end of the week. The food, shows, and laying out in the sun was the best way to celebrate and start Fall!
