Joyland

We went with Monterey this year to Joyland for Family Night and the kids had fun. I am not a big fan of Joyland, but with that being said, we try and go every summer as one of our summer to-do's. This year the kids enjoyed going around and riding rides with friends. Check that off the list for 2017!

Getaway to Austin

Garrett had a conference in Austin so I snuck away with him and enjoyed some time quiet time by the pool, reading and relaxing. It was great to get away and to spend some time together, just the two of us. I look forward to the next time he has a conference that I can tag along to!

Robotics camp

The kids enjoyed a week at Robotics camp. They had fun being creative and building with friends!

The Treehouse

The kids have really enjoyed spending time at Pops and Suso's even more so now that the tree house is finished. They enjoy having friends over to spend the night and sleeping out there.

Hayden gets braces!

Hayden was so excited for his turn at Wentz. He left with braces across his top four teeth and a big smile. We need another paycheck to pay for all of our kids teeth to be straight and beautiful!

VBS: Christmas in July!

Christmas in July was heaven for Hayden this year. VBS was tons of fun and Hayden enjoyed being an elf for three days. We always love VBS week!

4th of July

We enjoyed celebrating the 4th twice this year. The first time we were at the Lewis' and enjoyed watching a great fire works show and fellowshipping with friends. On the actual 4th of July, we had a cook out and swimming party at our house and then went to the Driskill's for fire works. A lovely dirt storm blew through and we weren't able to do the fireworks. The kids were super disappointed, but we told them we would save them and do double next year!
